Default Official Auction Site

I think most would agree the official wiki has become a success and the merge of it into game (F10) is quite handy. I think it would be great if they could now set up an official auction site (online browser Ebay styled, so no major game system changes are needed)that has the server resources to handle the traffic (sorry GWG Auction, you are just too laggy now for most to be using and having the access ingame will lead a broader range to it.) Add a key command to log you into the site or an NPC in town that triggers the browser window, either would work for me. Menu links would send users to browse that catagory. Is there a way to tag users so they are automatically logged into the auction so no one can spoof other users IGN and buyer/seller would have the proper IGN of the other? Players would still be responsible for accurate listings and completing the trade of course. The main point of this is an official version would have the resources to power it and an in game access point.

Omg you didnt even list bows -_-
Just because of that you get a /notsigned from me.

Now to be serious
/Signed but this should be thought for gw2 ,since they said they arent sure if they will add AH in there either, this is nice and more simpler way to do it.

An auction should definitley be added to this game. I mean think of the reduction of spam and trade chat with something like this. Wna sell something? Go to the auction. Or another idea is...let people set up small vending shops in the cities. Then if people are intersted they'll check your stuff out.

I don't understand why gw hasn't got any of this while 90% of online rpg's do.

Wrong, no and no. GW2 still doesn't exist. GW2 is nothing yet. We haven't payed for a demo nor a beta game. We want the current game fixed. Why do people still care about GW2. GW2 will have to be a better game in every aspect, not just a "fix-up" of GW1. So the fixes go on the current game.

See, thats what happens when I try making things when hungry.... I leave important stuff out. My ranger is not talking to me now and the assassins are glaring daggers.

An out of game auction with a link ingame is feasable, the Wiki/Help shows that. A fully ingame auction/individual shops have already been listed as not feasable due to mechanic restrictions I believe. Its just the way it was made. GWG Auctions viewed as a prototype shows that players are willing to set up their trades out of the game now we just need the power of big official servers to give it a strong boost.
